Injuries in mobile phone explosions are nothing new. This time a 16-year-old girl lost her life when her smartphone exploded. The teenager named Uma Orman was calling a family member after charging her smartphone. But in the meantime, he was injured when the device exploded, and doctors pronounced him dead.
The tragic incident took place at the home of the girl in Kheriakani village in the Indian state of Orissa.
The Nokia logo can be seen in the picture of the phone online. According to the picture, if it is actually a Nokia phone, then it could be a Nokia 5233 model phone, which was first launched in 2010.
Exactly what caused such an old phone to explode is not yet known. There may have been a short circuit that caused the phone's battery to overheat and explode.
Although the phone explosion was highly undesirable, it has happened many times before. Even iPhones, Samsung Galaxy smartphones have exploded. Due to the tendency to catch fire in the battery of the Galaxy Note 8, the phone was removed from the market in just two months after its launch in 2016.
